I. About the Novel

Robinson Crusoe is a novel by Daniel Defoe, first edition credited the 1719. The first edition credited the work's protagonist Robinson Crusoe as its author, leading many readers to beliebe he was real person and the bool a trabelogue of trus incidents. 

The story has since been perceived to be based on the life of Alexander Selkirk, a Scottish castaway who lived for four years on a Pacific island called "Más a Tierra", now part of Chile, which was renamed Robinson Crusoe Islandin 1966, but various literary sources have also been suggested.

Despite its simple narrative style, Robinson Crusoe was well received in the literary world and is often credited as marking the beginning of realistic fiction as a literary genre. Before the end of 1719, the book had already run through four editions, and it has gone on to become one of the most widely published books in history, spawning numerous sequels and adaptations for stage, film, and television.

Daniel Defoe born , was an English trader, writer, journalist, pamphleteer, and spy, most famous for his novel Robinson Crusoe. Defoe is noted for being one of the earliest proponents of the novel, as he helped to popularise  the form in Britain with others such as Samuel Richardson, and is among the founders of the English novel. He was a prolific and versatile writer, producing more than five hundred books, pamphlets, and journals on various topics, including politics, crime, religion, marriage, psychology, and the supernatural. He was also a pioneer of economic journalism.

Robinson Crusoe

Defoe's novel Robinson Crusoe (1719) relates the story of a man's shipwreck on a desert island for thirty years and his subsequent adventures. Usually read as fiction, a coincidence of background geography suggests that this may be non-fiction. In the opening pages of The Further Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, the author describes how Crusoe settled in Bedford, married and produced a family, and that when his wife died, he went off on these further adventures. Bedford is also the place where the brother of "H. F." in A Journal of the Plague Year retired to avoid the danger of the plague, so that by implication, if these works were not fiction, Defoe's family met Crusoe in Bedford, from whence the information in these books was gathered. Defoe went to school in Stoke Newington, London, with a friend named Caruso.

The novel has been assumed to be based in part on the story of the Scottish castaway Alexander Selkirk, who spent four years stranded in the Juan Fernández Islands, but this is inconsistent with the details of the narrative. The island Selkirk lived on was name Más a Tierra (Closer to Land) at the time and was renamed Robinson Crusoe Island in 1966. It has been supposed that Defoe may have also been inspired by the Latin or English translation of a book by the Andalusian-Arab Muslim polymath Ibn Tufail, who was known as "Abubacer" in Europe. The Latin edition of the book was entitled Philosophus Autodidactus and it was an earlier novel that is also set on a deserted island.

 D. Jeneral Opinion

A description of uninhabited island life for a long time by the then civilization which drifted. As for the life of the uninhabited island in only the one, a sporting blood and the side called stronger art to survive it are strong. In the open place, I build daily life and therefore I process a necessary thing locally and I bring it from a wrecked ship and recruit you and find you. It is survival itself, and such a daily life is drawn plainly. Faith to God increases as a support of the hearts there, and handling for the savage tribe lets you right feel culture. It is the story that is made to think about what kind of thing it is that a person lives like a person. In addition, the action of the chief character who acted as the English gentleman was very impressive in spite of being the uninhabited island where there were not rules.
